Waterfront Home Bahama Shutter Installation

For this waterfront Tampa Bay home, the front bedroom windows were receiving excessive heat from direct sun exposure. The homeowners wanted relief from the heat without sacrificing their beautiful water views, so we designed and installed aluminum Bahama shutters that covered only the lower half of the windows. To create a balanced and intentional look, the shutter design was carried across the front entry of the home. Two additional shutters were installed vertically, helping the overall project feel architecturally seamless rather than purely functional. The finished result provided shade, reduced heat gain, and enhanced the home’s curb appeal while preserving the waterfront view. Each shutter was manufactured from powder coated aluminum, making it an ideal choice for the Tampa Bay coastal environment where durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance are essential.
