A Complete Outdoor Living Transformation for Entertaining

Located in Clearwater, Florida, this comprehensive outdoor living project was designed for clients who love to entertain on a large scale. They had the opportunity to add nearly 1,000 square feet of usable outdoor space and wanted a comfortable, stylish, and functional area that could easily accommodate gatherings of 100 or more guests. The homeowner wanted a space that could provide shade while still allowing room to enjoy a wood-burning fire pit under the open sky, something that required a thoughtful and customized approach. To bring that vision to life, we combined two sizes of a Renaissance Fresco pergola to create a 30-foot-wide covered area with varying levels of coverage. To achieve the height and openness the homeowner envisioned, we engineered and installed custom aluminum bracket supports that attach directly to the home, lifting the pergola above the roofline to approximately 16 feet. The result is a spacious, elevated outdoor structure that feels open, functional, and perfectly suited for both relaxing evenings and entertaining. The finished project brought together multiple custom outdoor living features, including pergolas, Sunbrella shade elements, motorized hurricane screens, outdoor curtains, custom patio tables, replacement Sunbrella cushions, pavers, and a fire feature. Each element was selected to improve comfort, durability, and flow throughout the space. Because the clients are frequent entertainers, the design focused on flexibility and ease of use. The combination of shade, seating, weather protection, and gathering areas created a polished outdoor environment that feels both inviting and highly functional. The result is a true outdoor extension of the home — built for hosting, relaxing, dining, and enjoying Florida outdoor living year-round.
